The company was started in 1983, bringing professional service to companies and communities around the Washington Metropolitan Area. We specialize in commercial and residential construction. For the past 11 years we have also extended our work to include The Virginia Department of Transportation. We are a committed company giving our customers incredible service with superior quality and integrity! That is why we stand behind our work and include a One Year Limited Warranty*. We are a fully bonded, insured and Class A licensed contractor. You can be assured that your project will be done with professional consideration to your needs and budget.

Arthur Construction Company, Inc. is headquartered in Dulles, VA and is a general and specialty construction company focusing on horizontal site construction. The company was established in 1983 and has over 30 years of construction expertise. Asphalt paving, milling, pavement maintenance, pavement markings and signs, and all aspects of site concrete are inclusive of our site finishes. Utilities including waterline, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and duct bank installation are some of the utility services that we offer. Earthwork, site development, and project man- agement are all tasks that we routinely perform on our projects.

Arthur Construction began its corporate life over 30 years ago as an asphalt paving, concrete and utility contractor primarily self performing work on projects in commercial and government areas of construction. Our background includes involvement in civil projects such as the following:

• Roadways and Highways for local, state, and federal governments.
• Subdivisions and new community developments in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area
• Extensive utility work including waterline, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and duct bank installation.
• A wide variety of paving projects including parking lots, pavement maintenance, and milling projects
• All aspects of site concrete to include: colored concrete, architectural concrete, stamped concrete, curb and gutter, retaining walls, and flat work.

Arthur Construction is committed to safety. Our basic philosophy is that all injuries and accidents are preventable. While the responsibility for health and safety begins and ends with the top management, that responsibility is shared throughout the organiza- tion. Project managers are responsible for their jobsites; superintendents and foreman are accountable for safety and health of the employees under their direct supervision. All employees, at every level, are expected to fully accept responsibility for their own safety and for the safety of their co-workers. ACCI accepts no excuses for lack of safety or responsibility.
All of our foreman and superintendents are OShA 30 certified and remain current in safety through continued education courses. Our EMr ratings are consistently excellent due to our commitment to safety. We have top performance ratings with both VDOT and MDOT.
